West Holt Medical Services Foundation
The West Holt Medical Foundation is a non profit charitable organization dedicated to maintaining and improving health care for the citizens of North Central Nebraska. The foundation was formed not only to preserve a high quality of medical services but to develop educational related health programs in our community.
Educational Grants
The foundation provides funds which make scholarships, grants, fellowship and/or loans available to those people seeking to expand their medical knowledge and training. Aspiring medical students, interns, resident physicians, doctors, nurses, medical technicians, and many more benefit from our services now and in the years to come.
Building a Strong Tomorrow Campaign
In 2003 we started a campaign to raise of $1.4million to help update and improve the hospital with new equipment, and expansion.
Tax Exempt
West Holt Medical Services Foundation is a tax-exempt foundation, and gifts to it are deductible for income tax, and federal estate tax. Gifts or bequests can be made in various ways:
*Outright gifts or bequests of money or property
*A gift under trust to your surviving spouse, with the remainder to the foundation
*A gift of the residuary portion of an estate
*Memorial gifts in memory of a friend or loved one.
