West Holt Medical Services is seeking a licensed Mental Health Provider(LIMHP, LMHP, LICSW, LCSW, PhD, PsyD) that will provide behavioral health services within our Primary Care Clinic. This individual would work closely in conjunction with the primary care providers to develop an integrated behavioral health model for care.  The goal being to better serve our patients by improving communication between the prescribing providers and the behavioral health provider in order to form a more cohesive treatment plan with regular follow up.  Job duties include performing psychosocial assessments, developing treatment goals, and providing therapy to patients. Services would be provided across the lifespan. 

**If candidate is provisionally licensed as a mental health practitioner, social worker, or psychologist in Nebraska, practice will be supervised in accordance with Nebraska state license requirements.

Education and Experience Requirements: 
Clinical, Counseling, School Psychology degree with specialized training in behavioral and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Training in the provision of behavioral health in primary care settings. One year of training or practice in an integrated primary care setting is expected. If prior experience in integrated care is less than 1 year, the candidate will complete training through UNMC’s department of psychology integrated care program.

Physical:
This position is classified as Sedentary Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (33%-66% of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.  Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Must be willing to work within a primary care team.
  2. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and a high level of detail orientation.
  3. Knowledge of behavioral and cognitive-behavioral methods of intervention is required.
  4. Excellent time management skills are essential.
  5. Understands and adheres to West Holt Memorial Hospital’s Corporate Compliance Plan, Personal Conduct Policy, Safe Environment policy, Grievance Process, Confidentiality, Safety & Security, Infection Control, HIPAA and other departmental and organizational policies, procedures and guidelines.
  6. Other duties as assigned.
