Nutritional Services Team Member

We are currently seeking a Nutritional Services Team Member to prepare and serve meals to patients, employees and visitors. This is a full-time 36-40 hours per week position.


  • Must be able to run kitchen equipment
  • Previous cooking experience preferred
  • Able to work weekends and holiday shifts and rotating shifts
  • Serve-Safe Certification preferred or will be offered to new hire
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to stand/work 8-12 hour days
  • Ability to follow the instructions of team leader


  • Make meals for the day following approved recipes and menus
  • Assemble all food in required amounts for serving in proper containers
  • Follow policies and procedures in accordance with the standards required by the West Holt Memorial Hospital and the Department of Health
  • Order food and related supplies for the dietary department/receive deliveries and check receipts against specifications and orders
  • Direct and participate in dishwashing procedures
  • Sanitation: Responsible to keeping all equipment and areas thoroughly clean and in neat order
  • Follow assigned routine cleaning as specified by the Dietary Manager
  • Other duties as assigned
