Accountant & Revenue Cycle Specialist
West Holt Medical Services is hiring an Accountant & Revenue Cycle Specialist! This role plays a crucial role in managing the financial processes of a Critical Access Hospital (CAH), ensuring efficient and compliant revenue cycle management, as well as accurate financial reporting. This dual-role position requires a blend of accounting expertise, healthcare revenue cycle knowledge, and attention to detail to support the financial health and regulatory compliance of the hospital. Additionally, the Accountant is expected to provide cross-functional support, collaborating with various departments within the Business Office to ensure seamless operations and assist wherever needed. The ability to float between roles, offer assistance in multiple areas, and adapt to changing priorities is essential for maintaining smooth day-to-day operations in the hospital’s finance and revenue cycle functions.
Experience Requirements:
Experience with financial reporting, audits, and general accounting processes.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders.
Completion of high school diploma or by equivalent outside study. Accounting skills and working knowledge of Excel and Word preferred
