Shelly Doyle Honored With Caring Kind Award

Shelly Doyle was named the 2026 West Holt Medical Services (WHMS) Caring Kind Award recipient during the hospital’s annual banquet held at the Atkinson-Stuart Country Club on Tuesday, Sept. 29. 

This year, the pool of nominees was large, as a total of 52 nominations were submitted representing a pool of 29 employees. The event presented a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the outstanding staff at WHMS, and for the nominated individuals to hear exactly how much they are appreciated by their coworkers.

“Shelly is well-respected by all the staff at West Holt,” said WHMS CEO Jeremy Bauer. “She is most recognized for her kindness, knowledge as a nurse, mentorship, and exceptional patient care. We are very blessed to have her on our nursing team.”

After being recognized at the WHMS Caring Kind Award Banquet in September, Doyle was then recognized at the Nebraska Hospital Association (NHA) Caring Kind Luncheon on Friday, Oct. 23. The luncheon was held during the final day of the 99th Annual NHA Convention, which took place in La Vista.

WHMS congratulates Doyle for this well-deserved recognition, and all the nominees for their excellent work and great representation throughout the year.
