New Lab Opens at West Holt Medical Services

West Holt Medical Service (WHMS) is excited to announce the opening of the new Lab area in West Holt Memorial Hospital. Construction completed in mid-March, and equipment was moved and set up shortly thereafter.

New aspects include a separate phlebotomy room to give patients more privacy while having blood drawn and a designated office space. Overall, the new labs design and layout will allow for increased efficiency all around in the lab department.

Members of the WHMS Board of directors had the opportunity to tour the new lab as part of their monthly board meeting in March.

The next and final stage of construction at WHMS is underway and will consist of remodeling the old lab area into additional administrative offices connected to the current business office.
