WHMS Foundation Awards Fall Scholarships

Atkinson – The West Holt Medical Services Foundation (WHMSF) is pleased to announce the recipients of the Foundation’s Fall 2025 scholarships.

Miya Carey is a 2024 Graduate of West Holt High School. She currently attends Wayne State, majoring in Chemistry/Pre-Pharmacy, and plans to attend the UNMC College of Pharmacy upon completion of her undergrad.

Anel Monasterio will graduate from West Holt High School in the spring of 2026. She plans to attend the University of Nebraska- Kearney for pre-nursing and a bachelor's degree in Spanish Translation and Interpretation before enrolling in the UNMC BSN program in Kearney.

The WHMSF awards two $500 Scholarships in the Fall and Spring of each year. Previous winners of the Foundation scholarship are eligible to apply. For more information on eligibility or to apply, visit www.westholtmed.org/scholarships.
