Rivera Resigns as CEO at West Holt Medical Services

ATKINSON — West Holt Medical Services’ Ashley Rivera announced his resignation on April 1, 2020 after serving as the Chief Executive Officer since August 2019.

In a letter to employees and board members, Rivera shared, “I have always believed in putting the team and organization first, and as such, it is the right decision for West Holt Medical Services to have consistency and sustainable leadership. This has not been an easy decision for myself or my family but given what is going on in the world with COVID-19, and for health reasons, we have come to a conclusion to depart.”

“My family and I have valued and appreciated this opportunity so much to serve and be a part of this community,” added Rivera.

West Holt Medical Services’ Board of Directors have named Jeremy Bauer as interim CEO for the immediate future with the support of the senior leadership team.

“Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we will hold off on a CEO search at this time as we will let our team concentrate on helping the organization navigate this troubling time,” shared Hospital Board President Trent Schaaf.
