WHMS adds COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics, take-home tests

Tuesday, June 8, 2021

Helping our region return to normalcy has been a priority for West Holt Medical Services throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Readily available testing and vaccines are the two avenues that have helped slow the spread, and WHMS is making additions in both areas to help Holt County, and all of Nebraska, finish strong.

There will be two walk-in COVID vaccine clinics at the West Holt Medical Clinic. One will be Wednesday, June 23rd, from 5-7 pm, while the other will be Saturday, July 10th, from 8-10 am. Johnson & Johnson and Moderna vaccines will be available. By holding these clinics outside of normal business hours, WHMS hopes to provide time for individuals who have been unable to attend other area vaccinations.

Along with this addition of vaccination services, the West Holt Pharmacy is now carrying Abbott’s BinaxNow COVID-19 Ag At-Home Test for $39.99. No prescription is necessary, but symptomatic individuals should visit eMed.com to fill out the questionnaire form. Present the completed form at the West Holt Pharmacy and a pharmacist can evaluate if you qualify for the At-Home test based on the responses to the questionnaire. If a test is purchased, individuals can then go to back to eMed.com and start the testing process.
