West Holt Medical Services Foundation is planning to “Dream Big” for local healthcare at its inaugural fundraising gala on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Atkinson Community Center at 206 W Hwy 20.

The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. and include an evening of fine dining, Nebraska wine and beer, silent and live auctions, entertainment and keynote speaker John Cook.

Keynote Speaker:
John Cook, University of Nebraska Volleyball Coach

John Cook has led the Huskers to four National Championships, six Finals appearances, nine Final Four appearances, 12 Conference Titles, and 17 top-10 final rankings since 2000. Coach Cook currently has 721 career wins and is the fifth-winningest coach in NCAA history. In his inspiring speech entitled “Dream Big” Coach Cook will discuss how the philosophies, beliefs and values found in successful coaching parallel many of the same ones found in successful organizations and non-profits.

Net-proceeds from the Dream Big Gala will benefit West Holt Memorial Hospital’s renovation and expansion project including a new specialty clinic, laboratory, surgical suite addition and staff offices.

Evening attire: For Men - suit jackets or button down shirt with tie and nice slacks will do. For Women - semi-formal dress or nice slacks with blouse will do. This will be a fun time to dress up!

Tickets for the Dream Big Gala are $100 per person and include a sit down catered meal by the Flat Iron Bar & Grill featuring an apple cinnemon pork loin or flat iron steak entree, 2 drink tickets featuring Nebraska beer and wine from Brush Creek Brewing Company and Niobrara Valley Vineyards, entertainment, and auction fun!
